Water borehole project – Nigeria

We have once again received shocking news from our Umuntu project in Nigeria. This time it concerns the villages Uyaoro and Ikot Udo (South of Nigeria). The river basin, which is used as drinking water, is swampy and polluted. The inhabitants of the two villages as well as their farm animals are suffering from the contaminated water quality.

With your help we have managed to build a solar-powered well for 4500 villagers for 3500 CHF including a drinking water filter.

Now residents have free access to clean drinking and service water again!

thank you!
