1. Why do you work with Umuntu and what is your personal motivation?
For four years I have been working in my country as a lawyer for clean energy and clean water for hygiene and sanitation (WASH). I work with Umuntu because Umuntu shares my vision of providing clean and safe water for all and mitigating the challenges of climate change that affect poor communities around the world. I am motivated because I care about and inspire others to protect our environment, and I hope to leave a legacy for posterity that will benefit future generations.
2. What are the goals you want to achieve with Umuntu?
Improve access to clean water, especially for poor people in rural communities across Africa. Raising awareness of climate change and educating people about measures to protect the environment. To educate young people about the benefits of the Internet and how they can connect with people around the world to find solutions to challenges that affect their communities and their environment.
3. In which country and region do we help you?
I live in Nigeria. My project is in Nigeria and the African region.
4. who are you and what is your background?
My name is Benson Udoh. I am a teacher. I teach science and English to the students of my school. I am also a volunteer at UMUNTU Movement, Switzerland. I work on realizing the goals of sustainable development in my country.
