- Country: Burundi – East Africa
4. Who are you and what is your background?
I am Mugisha Parfait, Executive Secretary and Programme Officer of the TUVURWE NEZA Association. I studied medical school and received a diploma as a nurse. In 2015, in view of the critical situations in which the community of countries lived in the development path, we decided to found this association to strengthen health and strength to develop a country. The aim is to initiate projects that can contribute to the development and change of the living conditions of the community. As early as 2015, I piloted, monitored and evaluated a large number of projects, both in the community and in health facilities. I am currently working closely with the University at the Public Health Institute in Bujumbura Capital, where I work in anaesthesia and intensive care. There I also represent students and work for my association in its health structure.
